Function and Usage:   Chondroitin sulfate is an important structural                                   component of cartilage and provides much of                                   its resistance to compression. Along with                                   glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate has become a                                   widely used dietary supplement for treatment                                   of osteoarthritis.
